What People have to Say about Teah's Mental Management Training

As a Certified Nose Work Instructor, Certifying Official and Judge I put a lot of pressure to perform well at trials with my dog.  I found that I didn’t enjoy competition as much as I used to, so I decided to enroll in a 3-session online personal coaching package with Teah to get my mind back on track. Teah lead me through the Mental Management program step-by-step, provided handouts, gave examples from her own experience as a nose work instructor and competitor, and her enthusiasm and positivity is infectious! I recently attended two trials with my dog, and following the MM program, I found that I really enjoyed the experience again!  I also signed up for the Mental Management Patreon Silver membership which includes several MM audio books and regular posts and videos on the program.  These are great to watch and listen to when driving or waiting between searches.  But be aware, you have to be willing to change and put in some effort to make the Mental Management work, but when you do, it will change how you train and how you compete and how to be a “winner” regardless of the trial outcome!

I have been competing in Nosework since 2014 with 6 different dogs.  The more I compete, the more I realize just how important the mental game is if you want to do your best.  I attended a webinar that Teah did for Fenzi Dog Sports Academy and I knew that I had to work with her one on one.  With Teah’s personalized coaching and feedback, I went into a challenging Summit trial with my dog, Brava.  I felt like I had Teah on my shoulder the whole trial and her coaching helped me to utilize and execute on my mental system.  I really believe that Brava’s success at that trial was possible in large part because of the work that Teah and I did on improving my mental focus and mindset.  Teah is such a super coach who really makes a difference.

Still on Cloud 9 with Turner winning the NACSW National Invitational. Special thanks to my students who decorated my facility and held so many parties – what a week! However, I want to also give a shout out to Chuck and Teah Anders for their Mental Management Program – if you haven’t done it; you should. It helped me immensely at Nationals and in all the other competitions that I do. The program teaches you to focus on the task instead of worrying about the competition, spectators, what people may think of you as a handler, etc. It is extremely powerful in so many ways. Thank you!

Having attended this seminar last weekend, I can honestly say it is the most meaningful weekend I have spent learning how to, more confidently, perform under pressure, whether it is in the arena of dog events or in the business world. This seminar, given by Teah and Chuck Anders, gave me an understanding of specific strategies to use for overcoming some personal obstacles I have continually experienced when practicing and competing with my dog in nose work, agility and obedience. The practical applications to the precepts, which undergird the system, set this program above others I have experienced. Kudos to Teah and Chuck!!!
